"Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake." Mat.24:9

Persecution of people because of their religious believes is nothing new. The early Christians were martyred because of it. As the Church became more physically powerful it gradually lost the Spiritual fervency and begun persecuting all those who tried to bring it back to its source. This cycle continues today as active Christians are killed by the enemies of love and peace.
